These are the tenets of the Mazdayasni Zarathushtri religion, as accepted and preached by all the Dasturjees and religious teachers and common Zarathushtris in India. May our faith increase day by day, in these glorious tenets, that our ancestors have believed in for thousands of years.
Atha Zamyat Yatha Afrinami, May it be so as we wish.
This page has received excellent written articles from a number of Mazdayasni Zarathushtris, the main amongst them being : (Note: Dasturji/Ervad=Priests. The term for a layman is Behdin but this term is not used in this list.)
Special thanks to the late Roni K. Khan, a stalwart Zarathushtri scholar who contributed hugely through his writings and had been a great source of encouragement during the setup of this page. After an illustrious life in the scholarly defence of our sacred religion, Roni passed away in August 2002 and left this earthly abode for the higher realms of Ahura Mazda, after inspiring us all.
Readers may kindly note that Dasturji Dr. Kotwal and Dasturji Dr. Mirza are two esteemed High Priests of our Zarathushtri religion, and their writings are also proudly presented on this page. We also have articles written by High Priest Dasturji Kaikhushro N. Dastoor Meherjirana, the very traditional and extremely knowledgeable former editor/publisher of the Zarathushtri religious publication "Parsi Pukar" (name changed now to “Parsi Avaz”), who lectures extensively on traditional and esoteric aspects of our religion. In addition to this, we have here, over 250+ excellent articles from the Dini Avaz magazine (name changed now to “Parsi Avaz”), on traditional and esoteric matters of our religion. These articles are penned by Dasturji Meherjirana and other very knowledgeable contributors. Dini Avaz was published for over 30 long years (1976-2007) and was initially edited by Curset Patel, who continued and worked incessantly for the magazine for many years, until his death in 2002. His friends later took over the continuation. Cursetji's interest in Khshnoom had arisen and increased since sixties. He was a regular attendant in the Khshnoom classes conducted by the late artist Minoo Patel, who was a stalwart of Khshnoom and one of the pillars of Jehangir Chiniwalla's Parsi Avaz. Curset used to attend Jehangirji's lectures with keen enthusiasm. When Jehangirji died on 13th October 1973 and Parsi Avaz closed down from July 1974, Cursetji took over very smoothly the propagation of Khshnoom. "Dini Avaz" was not his only work. He organized 25 religious functions, Jashans, lectures, mehefils, in a year and personally sat between the faithful to guide them, whenever he could.
Constructive comments/questions are welcome, please send your comments to the traditionals@ParsiZoroastrianism.com who have created this page.
By the Grace of Dadar Ahura Mazda, the Traditional Zoroastrianism Home page also appeared in "Time" magazine. The issue was dated 16 Dec 1996 and the page screen capture, prominently showing Asho Zarathushtra's picture with eyes turned heavenwards, appeared in the middle of pages 64-65.
Ervad Dr. Hoshang J. Bhadha, one of our learned contributors has kindly consented to answering religious questions from Zarathushtris. Ervad Bhadha is well known for his inspirational writing on our religion, and his vast knowledge of the spiritual tenets of our religion. Any Zarathushtri family/individual interested in prayers or lessons on our religion from a Basic, Intermediate or Advanced level can contact him. For only those Zarathustris who are practicing the Zoroastrian faith by birth, Ervad Bhadha aathravan@hotmail.com offers to perform Jashan, Wedding, Navzote or funeral ceremonies in a traditional style WITHOUT taking any fees or gifts in return (with the exception of traveling expenses) anywhere in US or Canada. He will be glad to conduct religion classes on the Internet or send cassettes on prayers or whatever is necessary to help our fellow Zarathustris.
Carrying on the tradition of the forefathers, the Traditional
Zarathushtris Mailing list has been created since 1998. The members of this
list are thousands of born Mazdayasni Zarathushtris who have full faith and
pride in the tenets of our ancient religion. This is a place where the religion
will be protected on the internet, and not attacked as it is in the unhappy
liberal lists. If you honour and cherish the sacred religion you are born in
and want to be part of a group that is upholding it's time-honoured beliefs and
traditions, you are welcome to join this new FREE mailing list. Please click

SUBSCRIPTIONS to
Traditional Zarathushtri Publications of INDIA
The PARSI PUKAR (new name “Parsi
Avaz”) is a powerful Zarathushtri magazine which carries excellent religious
articles on our religion. High Priest
Dasturji Kaikhushro N. Dastoor Meherjirana is the very traditional and
extremely knowledgeable former editor of this magazine, who also lectures
extensively on traditional and esoteric aspects of our religion.
Why was Dasturji Saheb induced,
almost compelled, to float this magazine? The primary reason was that most of
the Parsis were and are treating their Religion - the Mazdayasni Zarthoshti
Daena - as a side line of life, a kind of a lazy hobby, a remote part of life
to be indulged in occasionally, say on a Hamkara day or a Baj day or a new year
day. Daena is not that. You can not even call it a part of life. IT IS LIFE
ITSELF. Every breath of our life on earth is connected with our Daena, which is
a divine ('minoi') Power Station installed by our Paigamber Asho Zarathustra in
certain non-physical regions existing in Nature. Our short stay on earth is a
part of our Religious journey towards Ahuramazda and we have to live every
moment of our life as decreed by Him, through Asho Zarathustra.
We Parsis have forgotten this
vital Truth.
"But how and why do you say
that this is the Truth?" somebody may ask.
This humble "Parsi
Pukar" is intended to answer that question. And therefore, it is a
magazine of Religion and Science.

For the continuation of the PARSI
PUKAR magazine (name changed now to "Parsi Avaz"), please visit the
website www.parsiavaz.com
The Dini Avaz magazine (name
changed now to “Parsi Avaz”) has over 250+ excellent articles in English, on
traditional and esoteric aspects of our religion. These articles are penned by
High Priest Dasturji Kaikhushro N. Dastoor Meherjirana and other very
knowledgeable contributors. Dini Avaz was published for over 30 long years
(1976-2007) and was initially edited by Curset Patel, who continued and worked
incessantly for the magazine for many years, until his death in 2002. His
friends later took over the continuation.
Cursetji's interest in Khshnoom
had arisen and increased since sixties. He was a regular attendant in the
Khshnoom classes conducted by the late artist Minoo Patel, who was a stalwart of
Khshnoom and one of the pillars of Jehangir Chiniwalla's Parsi Avaz. Curset
used to attend Jehangirji's lectures with keen enthusiasm. When Jehangirji died
on 13th October 1973 and Parsi Avaz closed down from July 1974, Cursetji took
over very smoothly the propagation of Khshnoom. "Dini Avaz" was not
his only work. He organized 25 religious functions, Jashans, lectures,
mehefils, in a year and personally sat between the faithful to guide them,
whenever he could.
This humble Dini Avaz points out
that there is one genuine and authentic source for the divine knowledge and
that is Ilm-e-Khshnoom. Whatever be your prejudices, if you closely follow the
materials given in this Magazine, with the real craving for truth, you are
sure, one day, to place your faith in Khshnoom. The day on which you will do
that will be the most memorable day in this life and after. May Asho
Zarathustra be with you.
